The Social Security Administration administers two separate federal income support programs for people with disabilities: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Disability Income (SSI).
If one receives a denial of eligibility for Social Security disability, there is an appeals
process. If it has been decided that you are not eligible for Social
Security disability benefits, you have 60 days from the date of the
denial letter to request an appeal. Lawyer Richard Paul has represented thousands of clients to get their Social Security Benefits in the State of South Carolina coastal community for over 20 years.
Veterans Disability
At the law firm of Disability Advocates of Charleston,
we represent Military Veterans as they
pursue service-connected disability benefits from the Department of
Veterans Affairs (VA). In fact, some veterans are eligible to receive
both service-connected benefits from the VA as well as Social Security
disability benefits from the Social Security Administration without any
reduction in benefits. In 2008, Richard J. Paul was certified by the Veterans Administration as an attorney authorized to represent Veterans.
